The Practice;

We are in a purpose built surgery with car parking facilities and disabled access. We

have 6 Doctors at the Practice. Claughton Medical Centre is a fully accredited teaching Practice and fully qualified doctors and students spend time with us, gaining experience in general practice.

The Practice is fully computerised to improve our efficiency and service to our patients. We constantly review the services available and aim to provide a high standard of patient care to all our patients. Many of our services are designed to encourage our patients to achieve a healthier lifestyle and we invite you to make use of them.

The practice is a training practice for both medical students and GPs. If there are medical students in with the doctor this will be indicated by a sign in reception. You have the right to ask the student to leave the room, but we would hope that you would consider helping to train the doctors of the future.

Practice list is open to take new registrations.

There are a variety of rooms available at  Claughton Medical Centre, including meeting rooms and consulting rooms.

How to find us

Having a "Named" GP

All practices are required to provide all patients with a named GP who will have overall responsibility for the care and support that the surgery provides to them. This does not prevent a patient from seeing any GP in the practice as he/she currently does. If you wish to know who your named GP is please contact the surgery.
